I trained at the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama, in London – going on to work as an Actor; Voice-over artist; Singer; Compère; Ventriloquist; Radio presenter; and Voice coach. In England, I acted in repertory, panto and with touring companies. And then in New Zealand: in stage productions in Auckland and Wellington; on television, including a year in the soap A Going Concern; and in over 100 radio plays. During this time I appeared in a lot of commercials, and voiced many radio and TV ads. In my mid-thirties, I became a fulltime radio presenter: one of the highlights was winning a Pater award for best afternoon radio show in the world. Currently, I’m working as a freelance voice-over artist, as a singer, as marriage and funeral celebrant, and as a voice coach.
