As an independent celebrant, I provide you with a dignified alternative to a Christian minister. I offer an occasion which is all about the departed loved one – their life, who they were, and what was dear and important to them. I place you and your loved one at the heart of a ceremony which reflects their beliefs and honours their memory.

With your direction, I can create the service which your loved one deserves. I would advise you on readings; music; hymns and prayers, if you choose to include them. There would always be solemnity, but the tone of the celebration is your choice. For example, for some people, a certain amount of levity and humour is appropriate; for others, a theme which reflects the life of the loved one might be the preference. Some ceremonies have a deeply spiritual aspect, whereas others are secular in nature.

If you’d like to make a no-obligation enquiry to check on my availability, please get in touch, with your details, such as ceremony date, location, venue and if you have a particular theme in mind.

Please note: Ceremonies 50 miles or more from Penrith will be liable to a travel fee of 45p per mile (after the first fifty miles).
